This flat deck bridge joins the banks of the River Mondego, between the towns of Pêro Soares and Mizarela, in the municipality of Guarda, and is believed to have been built over a pre-existing bridge from Roman times.According to local oral sources, the bridge was rebuilt in the 18th century. It is a monument made entirely of granite, with three round arches on pillars with two acute carvings.
