Staged Tours

With the cooperation of the Hereditas Association and other guest actors, the Guarda Museum has created three staged tours:1 - "A Guarda Secreta" ("Secret Guarda") reveals interesting facts about some of the iconic buildings in the historic center of Guarda.2 - "Staged visit to the Guarda Museum": based on historical facts about some of the items included in the collection, performers will lead the public on a playful and entertaining journey through time, with the aim of encouraging those taking part to appreciate culture and the importance of preserving patrimony.3 - "Night visit to the Guarda towers": while visiting the Torre dos Ferreiros (Tower of the Blacksmiths) and the Torre de Menagem (Keep), two characters give presentations about the major buildings in the city, at the same time as uncovering some of the stories and secrets surrounding these structures.These tours are free of charge and take place throughout the year.
